Maybe it could be more of a symbolic procession. Down your hallway or something. You could set up a little temporary altar at the end of it to mark it out as sacred space.

I was actually thinking along those lines. I think I'll set up my second altar in the living room. There's a nice place that has windows on 3 sides, and is an open enough space to have a couple of tables. One for the altar itself, another for food & wine.

I want to make a symbolic "line" that I'll cross at the top of the stairs, and as I descend I want it to symbolize going from the present all the way back to the beginning - to ancient Egypt. I have a thought about having a small statue of Anubis at the bottom that I can pick up and carry the rest of the way - like he is escorting me to the Lady & Lord.
