zomg!!! ZOMG!!!! Yippee!! The "Brown" pulled up in the drive (cutie-pie too) and handed me a nicely taped up box with MY name on it even!!!!

This is sooooo amazing! It feels so very perfect in my hand. The weight is perfect, the size is perfect, the shape is perfect--- everything about it is just PERFECT!!!!!

I have no idea how to ever thank you!

So there ya are, miss impatient pants.

I intentionally left it somewhat "rough" looking, for example, the handle isn't perfectly round. I personally think they look better this way and I like to think that if one of my northern European ancestors had made such a hammer, it would look much the same, as I don't think they necessarily had a lathe or a planer.

I didn't get beat up with it! And even got to hold it. River, it is really awesome!! Like Mama said, it felt really good to hold. Smooth to the touch but very "rugged" looking and in perfect balance!! Very nice job!!

Oh, I don't think that I would have liked a round handle nearly as well as I like this one! When I hold it-- clenched, like one would to strike-- it fits perfect in the curve of my fist, if that makes sense.

Funny-- I have used runes for many years... the Elder Futhark style...... but there was one rune in particular that is not found in standard showings....... had to do some research, but think I found it....... maybe it is a mystical rune? Meaning wealth, material success & gain? Maybe????
